The core business of Stanton Vineyards has traditionally been to produce grapes for several of the Napa Valley's most celebrated wineries.
In 1999, the Stantons began to select from some of their best grapes to produce limited quantities of their own wine with high emphasis on quality. Producing wine under their own label gives the Stanton Vineyards team a heightened awareness of the growing conditions inherent in good grapes.
Recognition and praise of Stanton wine by connoisseurs has been favorable and frequent. Find out what industry experts and knowledgeable reviewers have to say about our wine.

Inky and opulent to the core, the Stanton 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon certainly makes an impression, jammy red fruit, wild flowers, mint, sweet spice, lavender and rose petal are all dialed up in this flamboyant wine. Drinking window: 2023-2036.
Aromas of black currants, dried herbs, bark and porcini. Medium-to full-bodied with soft tannins. Dark-fruited and delicate. Leather and cocoa come through. Nicely refined. Drink now.

First Release. Very fine Reserve, named after the Stantons’ daughter. It is a stunning wine: rich, full-bodied, and very fine and complex in flavor (Cassis, cherry, black currant, violet, raspberry jam, black pepper, cedar, toasty oak), with good balance, and a very long, lingering finish. Needs 5+ more years of aging. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged 20 months in French Oak barrels. 50% new. 92 cases.
